Emporia Public Library is seeking a Public Services Librarian. Duties include primary responsibility for management, development and implementation of adult library programs, adult collection development, information and readers advisory services, coordination of outreach services to the community and collaboration with other library departments as part of the public services team.  Work involves supervision of paraprofessionals, student interns, volunteers and direct contact with the public in disseminating information and project management.   A minimum of two years of experience in public library administration, information or reader’s advisory, one year of supervisory experience and MLS degree required.
