Academic Forum deadline has been extended to Tuesday, February 17th. 

CALL FOR PAPERS!  The MPLA Academic Section has posted a “Call for Papers” for its Professional Forum, to be held at the KLA/MPLA Joint Conference in Wichita, Kansas, April 1-3, 2009.  The Professional Forum presents new ideas, innovations, and case studies in librarianship that benefit the profession.  Research methodology is encouraged, but not essential.  MPLA member academic, school, and public librarians are all invited to participate.  Selected papers are peer reviewed for an award of a $300 prize to the winning presenter(s). 

Only an abstract needs to be sent to Jan Fandrich at jfandrich@msubillings.edu by the Tuesday, February 17th.
