The board met yesterday with main focus on the Leadership Institute.  We will be discussing in the next coming weeks the idea of a 2.5 day intenstive workshop attached to the OLA/MPLA conference in 2010.  This discussion was brought forth because of the lack of funding to have a full LI similar to the ones in the past.  Discussion will be open to all MPLA members so check back here for a new threaded discussion on just this topic. 

Other news:  We are really excited about the start of the conference and we will update you this evening on events.  Dan and Roy are already working on getting pictures posted from this conference.  Rob is taking some video of events and if he can figure out how, will be posting some of them also.  I’m really hoping to get some footage of the Hot Tub Round Table event, but will keep it family oriented!
