The Library Youth Services Manager is responsible for overseeing all of the staff, collections, and services at a vibrant Youth Services section located in the Burton Barr Central Library, Phoenix Public Library’s flagship central library in downtown Phoenix.  This includes the management of three distinct spaces: the Children’s Place, Teen Central, and the MACH1 makerspace.  This position will direct the work of Librarians II, Librarians I, and Library Assistants and will help to guide, plan, and implement the hundreds of programs that occur in these spaces annually, as well as fostering a strong outreach presence in the surrounding community.  General supervision is received from a Deputy Director or the City Librarian through a review of plans, budgets, programs, and reports and conferences concerning difficult or unusual problems.   The ideal candidate will be digitally fluent, tech savvy and passionate about promoting digital fluency and technology skills in others

$54,392 - $81,245 annually. Candidates may be hired up to $81,245 depending upon qualifications.
