HOW MANY TIMES CAN A LIGHTNING TALK STRIKE ON A BRILLIANT IDEA?

Let’s find out!

Thanks to the pandemic, library service staff have gone through a long season of interesting times.

While scary and stressful, it has also enabled us to be innovative troubleshooters – be it through discovering how to offer programs and classes differently or being forced to redesign service models in new and unique ways.

As part of the MPLA Virtual Conference in April 2021, the Professional Development Committee will be hosting a series of 15-minute lightning talks. We are thrilled to invite anyone who is interested in sharing their ideas, challenges, successes, and lessons learned to be part of this program.

If you are interested, please submit your idea by 5:00 p.m. Central Time on Wednesday, March 3,2021.

Submit your Lightening Talk Idea

You will receive confirmation by the end of the day on Friday, March 12, 2021.

Lightning Talks will be presented on Thursday, April 29th, 2021 (exact times TBD).
